LA EXIGENCIA DE LO GRATUITO
Vivimos en un mundo de facilidades, en el que los servicios “gratis” abundan por las redes y eso me parece algo estupendo. Deberíamos estar agradecidos por lo mucho que recibimos a cambio de una simple conexión a internet ¿No es maravilloso?
Pues parece ser que NO
Enfocándome en el sector que me concierne como profesional y amante del arte, puedo decir que los consumidores de flamenco, han llegado a un punto en que EXIGEN que los artistas tengan que ofrecer su trabajo de forma gratuita.
Recientemente como todos sabéis he abierto mi escuela virtual en la que ofrezco clases para todos los niveles, dicho sea de paso os dejo aquí el enlace
Pues bien, además de estos cursos, yo por propia iniciativa y voluntad abrí hace meses un canal en youtube al que subo clases absolutamente gratuitas. El coste de ver ese canal y esas clases es absolutamente cero:
Lo hice porque me nace del corazón ayudar a quien desee seguir estudiando y no tenga recursos para hacerlo. Comprendo que las circunstancias que vivimos son excepcionales tras esta nefasta pandemia que se ha llevado por delante miles de puestos de trabajo, entre ello, miles de artistas flamencos al paro.
Nadie me obliga a entregar mi material de modo gratuito y por tanto es un regalo que doy llena de ilusión y de amor.
Pero cuando me encuentro con comentarios en mis redes sociales de personas desagradecidas, insultantes y exigiendo lo inexigible, que demuestran poco o ningún valor a lo que se les ofrece con generosidad y que proviene de lo más cálido de mi corazón…
Sinceramente, me dan ganas de decir “ quedaros ahí con vuestro insalubre mundo flamenco, mundo de envidia, de carencia y arrogancia”
Y es que desafortunada e inexplicablamente, en el mundo del flamenco, abundan este tipo de personas.
Son gente que si piden algo lo hacen con palabras despóticas, sin mostrar respeto o el mas mínimo agradecimiento, directamente escriben la exigencia seguida de una crítica, aún cuando el producto que se le haya regalado sea de incalculable valor y totalmente gratuito.
Lo dejo bien claro y con mayúsculas :
NO ESTAS COMPRANDO NADA COMO PARA SENTIRTE CON DERECHO A EXIGIR.
ESTAS RECIBIENDO UN REGALO. SI LO QUIERES, BIEN Y SI NO LO QUIERES BUSCA EN OTRO LUGAR ALGO QUE TE SATISFAGA MAS.
No emplees tu tiempo ni tu energía en insultarme a mi o a mi trabajo puesto que no soy un “sparring” con el que pagar tus frustraciones.
Tan solo soy una persona que desea aportar un poco de ayuda, luz o lo que puede en estos momentos difíciles a quien sí lo aprecia y valora.
Hace unos días recibí un mensaje en el que me criticaban por “cobrar hasta por la música”.
Haré una pregunta muy sencilla:
¿TU VAS A TU TRABAJO Y LE DICES A TU JEFE QUE NO VAS A COBRAR, QUE DE AHORA EN ADELANTE VAS A TRABAJAR COMPLETAMENTE GRATIS?.
ES MAS, NO SOLO TU, SINO TODO TU ENTORNO, TODO EL EQUIPO QUE SEA NECESARIO PARA DESARROLLAR ESE TRABAJO, LO HARÉIS GRATIS.?
Pues eso es lo que me pides cuando criticas que cobro la música.
Tras esta pandemia miles de músicos y empresas dedicadas al flamenco están en paro, sin percibir ni un solo Euro. Y tu me exiges que yo les haga trabajar a esta gente gratis para regalártelo a ti…
Que se componga la música, se grabe, se empleen equipos profesionales y se regale, así como así…
PUES NO.
Mi filosofía es otra, no es la filosofía de la carencia. Yo intento dar trabajo e ingresos a mis músicos. Si por eso soy una diva como me han llamado, pues estoy encantada de ser la mayor de las divas de este planeta.
Una diva que busca recursos para sus músicos en paro y que ofrece un valor que no existe en el mercado actual.
Seguiré colgando material gratuito para los miles de personas que sí valoráis lo que se da con el corazón.
Afortunadamente sois más que la gente oscura que dedica su tiempo a mancillar la imagen de ciertos artistas como la mía propia.

THE DEMAND FOR FREE
We live in a world of facilities, in which «free» services abound through the networks and that seems to me something great. We should be grateful for how much we receive in exchange for a simple internet connection. Isn’t it wonderful?
It seems it is not the case.
Focusing on the sector that concerns me as a professional and art lover, I can say that flamenco consumers have reached a point where they DEMAND that artists have to offer their work for free.

Well, in addition to these courses, I, on my own initiative and will, opened a YouTube channel months ago, to which I upload absolutely free classes. The cost of watching that channel and those classes is absolutely zero,
I did it because it comes from my heart to help those who want to continue studying and do not have the resources to do so. I understand that the circumstances we are experiencing are exceptional after this disastrous pandemic that has distroyed thousands of jobs, including thousands of Flamenco artists to unemployment.
Nobody forces me to deliver my material for free and therefore it is a gift that I give full of hope and love.
But when I find comments on my social networks from unappreciative, insulting people and demanding the unenforceable, they show little or no value to what is offered to them with generosity and that comes from the warmest of my heart …
Honestly, it makes me want to say «stay there away, with your unhealthy flamenco world, a world of envy, lack and arrogance»
And it is that unfortunately and inexplicably, in the world of flamenco, these types of people abound.
They are people who, if they ask for something, do so with despotic words, without showing respect or the slightest appreciation, they directly write the request followed by a criticism, even when the product they have been given is of incalculable value and totally free.
I make it very clear and with capital letters :
YOU ARE NOT BUYING ANYTHING TO FEEL RIGHT TO DEMAND. YOU ARE RECEIVING A GIFT.
IF YOU WANT IT, VERYWELLCOME AND IF YOU DON’T WANT IT, LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR SOMETHING THAT SATISFIES YOU MORE.
Do not use your time or energy to insult me or my work since I am not a «sparring» with which to pay for your frustrations.
I am just a person who wants to contribute a little help, light or what I can in these difficult moments to those who do appreciate and value it.

Let the music be composed, recorded, professional equipment be used and given away, just like that …
WELL, NO.
My philosophy is different, it is not the philosophy of lack. I try to give my musicians work and income.
If that’s why I am a diva as you have called me, then I am delighted to be the greatest diva on this planet.
A diva seeking resources for her unemployed musicians and offering value that does not exist in today’s market.
I will continue posting free material for the thousands of people who do value what is given with the heart. Fortunately, you are more than the dark people who dedicate their time to tarnish the image of certain artists like my own.
